The Surplus Exchange collects and processes over 6,600 tons of
business equipment each year. We have over 1,500 NPO’s and many general
public shoppers.
It takes a lot of “people power” to make all this happen. Our
environmental and human service efforts have been recognized by many government,
charitable and business organization. Often times, to keep items out of
the landfill, or to help an individual or agency, the cost outweighs the
revenues generated. This is why volunteers are so important to our organization.
Can you repair a computer, teach a class, repair a broken desk or chair,
answer a phone or perform other office work, or do PR work such as public
speaking?
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

We can also accommodate groups of individuals from schools, churches
or other organizations for special projects.
